Dixon reminds me of Vick already. He runs a boatload and that is not a bad thing, but lacks in his passing ability. I hope he learns and grows from all this experience as the starts keep coming for him.

I like what I see of Dixon but he does need to look downfield more. Use his legs to break out of the pocket and then look for a receiver.
I didn't see much from the OL tonight. I'll take a better look tomorrow when NFL Network shows the replay.

Much to work on, but hey first pre season game and no injuries im happy. Starting defense and secondary get's an INT awesome!

Wow, fifty five pages on this, can't wait to see the regular season game threads.Anyways, I didn't get to see the game, but kept tabs on with my phone. I'm glad to see that we won and with a pretty good margin. I see the running game didn't do well with all the fumbles and Byron didn't have a swell game, but Dennis did great.
6/7, 128 yards, 1 touchdown and a rating of 158.3 is awesome. Redman did well and so did Brown. That was a nice sixty eight yard touchdown catch. How was Pouncey?
A few thoughts:
The offense is a concern, especially the O-line and ball security
The defense however was awesome, Detroit didn't go far, and Pittsburgh even got an INT
Antonio Brown is a player, and so is Issac Redman
Dennis Dixon should probably get the start next week, see what he can do against the 1st team defense, I thought he was better than Leftwich, especially more mobile

I'm not sure about you all but that was one of the funniest games I have been to. I loved watching that game in the 2nd qtr with it pouring cats and dogs.. I can do that every game..
I can't believe all the Lion's fans that jumped on a Central PA newspaper website and talk so much smack before the game.. lol
