A little trip down memory lane

As this year's mess of a Pro Bowl approaches, here's a picture of the Steelers' 2005 Pro Bowl participants.

Looking back at this, I really miss having a damn good o-line. Hartings, Faneca, Smith...damn I miss those days.

Hines looks small too. Why does Porter look big?

must be the angle of the pic ... look at the background sidewalk or whatever it is ,,, photographer must be closer to Porter and players on angle away from him make them look smaller ?

I dunno what else it could be

Naturally Troy is going to look tiny standing next to Marvel who is 7 inches taller than him.

    Their heights from nfl.com:

    Joey Porter 6-3
    James Farrior 6-2
    Jerome Bettis 5-11
    Jeff Hartings 6-3
    Alan Faneca 6-5
    Aaron Smith 6-5
    Marvel Smith 6-5
    Troy Polamalu 5-10
    Hines Ward 6-0

One thing that surprised me of that team was Porter and Faneca's friendship. Two totally opposite personalities. And then they all played cards at Potsie's house. That was a close knit team.
