    Compensatory selections

Compensatory selections should be released sometime this coming week during league meetings

    I am guessing we get 3 .... 1 early 1 mid and 1 late 3-5-7

    The @steelers receive compensatory picks in 3rd round (97th overall), 5th round (173rd) & 6th round (215th) for 2014 NFL Draft.

    Tremendous!

I wish they would reinstate Steeldawg. I would love to ask him if he would trade the 97th pick for Mike Wallace and his salary cap hit? I would bet anything the Dolphins would jump at that deal if the Steelers were stupid enough to offer.

He's off his vacation now. He just hasn't come back.

A third round comp pick for Wallace..........it's the best thing he ever did for this team!

I honestly thought that Roger was going to screw the Steelers again and deny them the 3rd round comp, pleasantly surprised at what we got

This is just what we needed. More picks for more depth and hopefully to find a starter or two.

I will only say that he was banned a little over 2 weeks ago for a very good reason. He has served his suspension and is welcome back at any time, if he chooses. If there are any other questions that you feel you need to ask please PM one of the Mods. or Admins. but we will not answer questions just for curiosity sake.

Same here - especially since Wallace's play in 2013 certainly didn't merit a 3rd rounder.

I think Grice would be a better prospect, and should go around the same area. I still like White in the 5th.

    Re: Compensatory selections

If that's the case, I wouldn't be too surprised to see us dangle a mid to late round or two to move up a few places in the second or third round. Yeah, everyone says it's a deep draft, but that doesn't matter if the guy you want is no longer there when you're getting ready to pick.
