I've said this to some of my idiot Browns fans on Facebook. I believe that if Tressel were to be a HC in the NFL, his tenure would be very similar to that of Lou Holtz's with the Jets in the 70's. He did well at YSU and OSU, but he just strikes me as a college coach only, IMHO.
Hiring Tressel would just be pandering to the fans' wishes, which NEVER works out....just ask Danny Snyder over in Washington.
But hey....it's the Browns. The new leadership seems to be shaping up to be as moronic as the last regime.
I'm going with the majority on this one. The trick isn't finding a good coach, the trick is finding a good coach who's willing to put up with that franchise.
