Andrews a month ago was an A in the 7th round today he garners a D ..... shows you how much hype is placed on Pro days and Combine and how little game tape counts to some evaluators

Do you think, if he's still there in say the 5th, Mettenberger would be a good QB to grab and start grooming? I know we just got Landry but, that guy is awful.

I'm not sure if awful is fair, he's a #3 QB and only played in a few preseason games.

Yes, but you've done your homework and have common sense. Common sense seems to be in short supply these days.

    Re: Mock Draft Site

I gave it another try. Just so happened that everyone -- Dennard, Gilbert, Ebron, Evans... were already grabbed, so I went a little trade-down crazy.

Round 2 Pick 2 (WASH): Kony Ealy, DE, Missouri (A)
Round 2 Pick 14: Allen Robinson, WR, Penn State (A)
Round 2 Pick 20 (ARI): Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska (B-)
Round 2 Pick 21 (G.B.): Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee (B+)
Round 3 Pick 9 (BUF): Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 33 (COMP): Keith McGill, CB, Utah (B)
Round 4 Pick 14 (JAX): Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford (A)
Round 4 Pick 18: Daniel McCullers, DT, Tennessee (A)
Round 4 Pick 20 (ARI): Devonta Freeman, RB, Florida State (A)
Round 5 Pick 18 (DAL): Crockett Gillmore, TE, Colorado State (A)
Round 5 Pick 20 (ARI): Cassius Marsh, DE, UCLA (D+)
Round 5 Pick 23 (K.C.): Justin Ellis, DT, Louisiana Tech (C+)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): J.C. Copeland, FB, LSU (A)
Round 6 Pick 16: Khairi Fortt, OLB, California (B)
Round 6 Pick 39 (COMP): Tom Hornsey, P, Memphis (A)
Round 7 Pick 14 (DAL): Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma (D+)
Round 7 Pick 15: Marion Grice, RB, Arizona State (B+)
Round 7 Pick 16 (DAL): Nickoe Whitley, FS, Mississippi State (C)

It didn't like me picking Marsh in the 5th but I want to convert him to OLB. It didn't like me picking Colvin in the 7th but I'd be happy as hell to stash him on the IR for a year.

    Re: Mock Draft Site

    Decided to try something different...

Round 1 Pick 5 (OAK): Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson (A)
    Round 1 Pick 21 (G.B.): C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (B+)
Round 2 Pick 14: Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame (A-)
Round 2 Pick 31 (DEN): Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska (B)
Round 3 Pick 9 (BUF): C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa (C+)
Round 3 Pick 21 (G.B.): Marcus Smith, DE, Louisville (A-)
Round 3 Pick 33 (COMP): Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU (A)
Round 4 Pick 18: Charles Leno, OT, Boise State (C)
Round 4 Pick 31 (DEN): Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers (C)
Round 5 Pick 9 (BUF): Ahmad Dixon, SS, Baylor (A)
Round 5 Pick 17: Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty (E)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): Deandre Coleman, DT, California (C+)
Round 6 Pick 16: James White, RB, Wisconsin (A)
Round 6 Pick 39 (COMP): Tom Hornsey, P, Memphis (A)
Round 7 Pick 6 (T.B.): Spencer Long, OG, Nebraska (C)
Round 7 Pick 15: John Brown, WR, Pittsburg State (D)

It really hated that small-school Aikens. I may have traded away our 2015 first rounder.

I was going to pick Kain Colter in the 7th but when I saw John Brown on the WR list I couldn't help myself.

    Re: Mock Draft Site

I didn't grade particularly well on this one, but traded back twice and liked who I was able to pick up with it. The game doesn't seem to like Fuller in most of the back half of the first round, but I think he'd be a steal at 22, followed by my double-dip with McGill.

Your score is: 4965 (GRADE: A-)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 22 (PHI): Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech (B)
Round 2 Pick 14: Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame (A-)
Round 2 Pick 21 (G.B.): Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 3 Pick 22 (PHI): Christian Kirksey, OLB, Iowa (A-)
Round 3 Pick 33 (COMP): Keith McGill, CB, Utah (B-)
Round 4 Pick 18: Daniel McCullers, DT, Tennessee (A)
Round 5 Pick 17: Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers (A-)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): Storm Johnson, RB, UCF (A-)

Round 6 Pick 39 (COMP): Max Bullough, ILB, Michigan State (B-)

What are your thoughts on Cassius Marsh late, say around the 6th if he's there.
