    Re: Mock Draft Site

The game has added the comp picks, and looks to have refined their prospect rankings a little. I manage this.

Round 1 Pick 15: Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State (A-)
    Round 2 Pick 14: Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota (A)
Round 3 Pick 33 (COMP): Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 4 Pick 18: Daniel McCullers, DT, Tennessee (A)
Round 5 Pick 17: James White, RB, Wisconsin (B+)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): Devon Kennard, OLB, Southern California (B)
Round 6 Pick 16: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma (D)
Round 6 Pick 39 (COMP): Cody Hoffman, WR, Brigham Young (C-)
Round 7 Pick 15: Alden Darby, SS, Arizona State (B+)

some guys there I like a lot I could see me making 7 of those 9 picks ....

not big on Hageman ( but good value at that pick point ) and not convinced we need a RB now , I like Alvester Alexander as a 3rd option behind what we have and would be perfectly fine with an UDFA or two to open training camp as fodder with but over all like it

I would have rather traded back in the 1st and pick Fuller, then tried to trade up in the 2nd to pick Tuitt myself, but just went with the picks as they fell in place. If we don't draft a RB and just go with Alexander it wouldn't bother me at all. I do like White though. Maybe because I'm a Big 10 fan.

I don't think we could land Moncrief with our 3rd round comp pick either, but who knows.

Nice, hard not to like Moncrief and I'm big on Dan McCullers.

He may not be Nix. but in this draft I think he would be the next best thing. You should try this simulator out, I think you would like it.

I tried it out. There was a maddening run on WRs... so I couldn't get any early.

I was wondering why I couldn't get the same format as yours for mine but I guess there are two different websites for this. I didn't use the game at first-pick, I used the other one, it had the comp picks added in too. I got:

    15 CB JUSTIN GILBERT
    OKLAHOMA STATE

    46 TE JACE AMARO
    TEXAS TECH

    97 DT DAQUAN JONES
    PENN STATE

    118 WR MARTAVIS BRYANT
    CLEMSON

    157 CB DEION BELUE
    ALABAMA

    173 WR MIKE DAVIS
    TEXAS

    192 ILB KHAIRI FORTT
    CALIFORNIA

    215 G SPENCER LONG
    NEBRASKA

    230 DT SHAMAR STEPHEN
    UCONN

Why not draft Ebron in the 1st if available and get a WR & TE with one pick?

    Here is one reason why

According to Rotoworld’s Josh Norris, Ebron dropped a troubling 11.43 percent of his targets in 2013.

Just don't pass to Ebron, he might drop it.

    Re: Mock Draft Site

The article points out that he has drops, then says....

Ebron’s upside is surpassed by few prospects in this year’s draft class. In an increasingly pass happy league, the tight end position has gained value in recent seasons thanks to matchup nightmares like the aforementioned Davis, Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski. Ebron, being too fast for most linebackers and too big and strong for most defensive backs, could be poised to join that elite company.

Because he wasn't available. It's a draft simulator.

Try it out a few times, the Titans will piss you off.

Walter Football is currently doing his reader mock and is on the Bears right now. Aaron Donald is currently winning in a landslide leaving notably Ebron, Dennard, Mosley, and Benjamin available among others. Voting for the Steelers most likely to open tomorrow morning and quite possibly very late tonight

    157
    ILB LAMIN BARROW LSU

    Re: Mock Draft Site

first pick site will downgrade the value of the pick via grade IF , you have already selected someone that plays that pos prior , or they do not feel it is a team need UNLESS it is significantly better player than anyone else left on the board ...

have got a D for a player before who I drafted right about where he should be because I took like player earlier and turned around and got an A for same player same pick point in another draft because I had not yet addressed that pos...

something to keep in mind with " their grades " and I do not pay much attention to what they label it as because of such things

Going by these and all the runs on CB we're seeing it's almost like we're destined to get Keith McGill

If I understand it right he has high ceiling and is kind of prototypical but will need time for development, so good thing we've got Ike this year.

he is Ike 2.0 long fast lean and RAW but with good coaching could be a very good CB IMO just not an instant starter he is a year or two away

Two votes for Dennard, one for Ebron, one for Fuller.

I can see any of those happening.

But then there's a vote for Taylor Lewan. What?

-I would love having Lewan. But I can't see it happening. He's got a mean streak and should be a beast of a left tackle, maybe a perennial pro-bowler. I guess to make it work we'd what, start Beachum until Lewan was ready to start... and over at RT you let Munchak decide who's going to prevail between Gilbert and Adams. Gilbert can play both ends if necessary, so he could be the backup and I wonder if Beachum could slide inside to Guard... (well I know he can but is he better than Foster?) He's a pretty good technique guy and I think he can pull better than Foster. Not as good as Faneca but...

    Lewan-Beachum-Pouncey-DeCastro-Adams

I actually like that a lot. Beachum and Gilbert can both probably play any position on the line. But you kind of wind up with a logjam of players, yet none of the WR, CB, or DL help you sorely need. I don't think both Gilbert and Foster are going to be happy being backup/utility guys.

Hmm. If we go on and draft Lewan, would anyone bite on Gilbert for a 5th rounder?

Dennard: Obviously yes, it would be very difficult to justify passing on him
Fuller: If the Steelers traded down at least 10 spots then yes
Ebron: Without a need at tight end and with his apparent tendency to drop passes similar to that of Jeremy Stevens, I say no
Lewan: HELL NO! We have a lot of depth and the line actually began to gel. Also Munchak will get the best out of what we have. Of course the deal-breaker is his legal issues and the fact that he seems like a complete thug.

The need/value really isn't there at pick 15. It is much better in the later rounds. Dennard should be the pick if he is available, but if not, trade down and get more picks. If they can't trade down then the fall back option is Mosley who should provide an upgrade at ILB
