Probably right is what I would say too. I don't think this had much to do with Dwyer or anyone else beating him out for the job; it had to do with Redman being completely unproductive this season. Actually, counterproductive is more like it. There are heroin addicts who have done more this year than him.
    See you Space Cowboy ...

Got me interested and I looked it up last night. Yep, 1 year. Wouldn't surprise me to see him sign the same next year with us.

Oh well. It's all history now.
I think you're right. Not sure if I'd blame the coaches, or if it was his decision to lose the weight, though. Either way, I did like him in short yardage before he lost it.

I didn't really care either way. One thing I can say though, it seems like Mendenhall was a lot more talented than Jones, or at least, a very different runner. Jones however, seems to be a much harder worker.

You could very well be right. I was pretty shocked at that run too, it looked like he was shot out of a canon. When did he get speed?

You're right. It probably wasn't a cause and effect thing, it was more like evidence that his fate was already sealed. I took a mental not of it at the time because it struck me that if you're going to have Redman on the roster this is the situation to use him. The fact that they didn't just shows that they have no use for him. But in my opinion he was misused all year. He should never have been a primary RB. He was a role player and Tomlin kind of set him up to fail.

the reasons are plenty , and I do not think it was 1 thing , but cumulatively its was a mountain of evidence against him ... The icing on the cake was probably the article I posted a week or so ago talking about playing with a concussion
