    FUND OBAMACARE NOW

Fund Obamacare and do it now. Tell the President and the Democrats that you Republicans in Congress will gladly fund it. Will give them every last penny they're asking for. This, my friend, is how you deal with spoiled brats. You don't act like one yourself. See, some people are stubborn. You can't just tell them that getting hit with a baseball bat hurts. No, you gotta let them experience it for themselves. Fund it in full for one year. Let America 'experience it'. See if he and Harry and Nancy are willing to still stand behind it and try to convince America that continuing it permanently is the right thing to do.

Let's hand the liberals a Louisville Slugger and let the problem fix itself

LOL...that reminds me of my "Welcome to Mississippi" moment. A few months after Katrina, I moved from New Orleans to the Coast. My little niece was one year old. I went to the hardware store to get some of those little plastic plugs. Showed one to the guy behind the counter. He told me where to find them and then added "You know, they don't need to stick their finger in there but once. They learn pretty quick."

Is that why I was told my contribution to my health insurance at work will go up 100% in the next year?

You keep telling us all what a good thing this is.... how it will/is going to lower costs. All I see is increasing costs, a freeze on hiring, my company downsizing to no more than 80 full time employees because of the nightmare that dealing with health care will become with 100 employees (which we really need). They are also asking a few employees to cut down to 25 hrs. a week. Obviously, something is wrong if this sort of thing is happening....... and I would guess it isn't just my company that is doing this.

If the ACA is such a great thing for this country and it's citizens, why are so many people against it? Why is there so much opposition to a program that is supposedly so great? I don't know dawg.... maybe you see something that 99.9% of the rest of us are blind to?

^ Truth. Once the government gets their hooks into a new social program, they're in it forever. I don't support doing things that are bad for the country just because they happen to be good for one political party. Wrong priority IMO.

The costs aren't going to go down. America is in a downward spiral. I just hope we can climb out of it. Obamacare, is egregious, what more can you say?

C'mon its common sense!!! Having the millions upon millions of Americans, who have no income outside of government welfare, jump on board will definetely bring the costs down. Wait...Maybe its the people with preexisting conditions who will draw more out of the system then they put in...yep...that ought to lower the costs.

Its the same logic that immigration reform will help our economy by putting more people into the job market...even though we have 20 million citizens out of work or working part time and looking for more hours.

If you squint real hard...forget all you learned in basic 8th grade math class...peek through your fingers..and look at it in the dark... it makes PERFECT sense.

Health insurance cancellation notices soar above Obamacare enrollment rates

Hundreds of thousands of Americans who purchase their own health insurance have received cancellation notices since August because the plans do not meet Obamacare’s requirements.

The number of cancellation notices greatly exceed the number of Obamacare enrollees.

Insurance carrier Florida Blue sent out 300,000 cancellation notices, or 80 percent of the entire state’s individual coverage policies, Kaiser Health News reports. California’s Kaiser Permanente canceled 160,000 plans — half of its insurance plans in the state — while Blue Shield of California sent 119,000 notices in mid-September alone.

And what's worse, the number of "enrollees" is highly inflated. The way the website is set up, people have to begin an application *before* they even get to see what their options are. These people (which are pretty much everybody who's gotten past the initial screen) are the ones they laughably refer to as "partial applicants".

Well, it definitely won't be going to Carrie Underwood.

A recent “Investor’s Business Daily” article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.

Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:

    U.S. 65%
    England 46%
    Canada 42%

Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months:

    U.S. 93%
    England 15%
    Canada 43%

Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six
    months:
    U.S. 90%
    England 15%
    Canada 43%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:

    U.S. 77%
    England 40%
    Canada 43%

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:

    U.S. 71
    England 14
    Canada 18

Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in “excellent health”:

    U.S. 12%
    England 2%
    Canada 6%

And now for the Last Statistic: National Health Insurance?

    U.S. NO
    England YES
    Canada YES

    Re: FUND OBAMACARE NOW

Nothing that most of us don't already know and have basically been saying all along, but it still really sums things up perfectly.

President Obama Clearly Never Worked For Goldman Sachs

    John Tammy, Forbes Staff

For newly minted employees of Goldman Sachs, one of the first things they’re instructed on during training is the ephemeral nature of investment banks. Using deal ‘tombstones’ from decades past, established employees ask them to look closely at the list of now-defunct underwriters of long ago deals.

The purpose of such an exercise is to remind them once again that when it comes to financial institutions, their existence is far from a forever thing. Second, it’s to sear in their minds the basic truth that one false move from an errant employee can bring the whole company down.

Lessons from Goldman Sachs loom large in light of the rollout of President Obama’s signature healthcare legislation, otherwise known as Obamacare. Though it was Obama’s goal to make access to healthcare universal, he left the ACA’s creation largely to Congress and bureaucrats whose creation of Healthcare.gov threatens to wreck any presumed legacy of success for the Obama administration. Had Obama been lucky enough to experience Goldman Sachs training, it’s fair to presume that he wouldn’t have been so lax about letting others write and then create the very legislation that would carry his name.

It’s popular now to suggest that the staggering incompetence that gave us Obamacare is limited to a flawed website. If only that were true. In truth, Obamacare’s problems merely begin with the website, and will grow much worse assuming Heathcare.gov is ever fixed.

That is so because contrary to its billing as a market-based exchange, it’s nothing of the sort. Healthcare.gov at its core is a wealth redistribution scheme that promises to fail for it ignores basic economics.

Indeed, basic economics dictates that there’s no such thing as a ‘free good.’ That’s a major problem because Obamacare not only promised healthcare for all, but it promised gold-plated access to healthcare at costs lower than had previously prevailed in the actual marketplace. To put it very plainly, any legislation that promises more of a market good at a below market price is by definition a very expensive lie.
