Yeah, but that was with NBC and he had to work with Collingsworthless.... Ring envy at its finest.... It would make anyone want a job change....

Yes, and that's why Disney Channel II hired him. I also noticed during the game on Monday Night that they're giving that tool Keith Olbermann yet another show. Is there a network that jackass hasn't been fired from?

According the Times, Olbermann, 54, will host a late night talk show from New York that will air on ESPN 2. Although Olbermann may discuss other topics besides sports, his new contract reportedly forbids him from talking about politics on the program.

Uh, yeah, that's gonna end about as well as the "Rush Limbaugh experiment." The guy can't HELP but spout ultraliberal talking points in spite of himself. That's a big reason why he keeps getting fired. You know you're off the deep end when MSNBC gives you walking papers.

Back on topic - Bettis needs to stick to managing his restaurant. Not every ex-player is cut out for network sports commentary/analysis. In fact, most aren't. Most of the on-air "talent" for the NFL Network who happen to be ex-players is a testament to that fact, and will probably be his next stop when the ESPN gig goes the way of his NBC tenure.

Good for him. At least he shows he is not a homer. Makes his assessment that much more valuable.

Gotta wonder if he doesnt feel the "need" to predict the Steelers as third. If he is going to be taken seriously he amost HAS to show he isnt a homer.
