    Steelers notebook: Miller not worried about timetable

    Heath Miller and David Johnson suffered the same knee injury four months apart last year. And even though Johnson started training camp on the physically unable to perform list just like Miller, the reigning Steelers MVP doesn't think Johnson's extended healing time is any indication for him.

    “Everybody's body reacts differently,” Miller said. “Throughout the process we've had the same obstacles to overcome and probably had the same type of progress.”

    Miller worked out on the third field at St. Vincent with the other PUP players during the practice Saturday. Miller said he is doing everything well, including running and cutting, but won't put a timetable on his return..............

    I do not think he starts the season on the PUP list ... he may not play the first couple weeks but it won't be 6 weeks or more either
