Taking the Shuttle (Boat) to Heinz

    Has anyone here done this?

I was looking into the option: http://www.gatewayclipper.com/shuttle/steelers/

As an out of towner, I usually go into the city and park at the sports museum, then hoof it to and across the R. Clemente Bridge to Heinz. This would save me having to go into the city (thus avoiding the traffic afterwards) and, who doesn't like a boat ride? haha.

It's $10.00 round trip (about the same as parking).

Just curious if there are any reviews.

Yes. My wife and I have and found it to be an enjoyable experience.

If you haven't I recommend it. I will give it a thumbs up.

XT and I did this for a game last year. It's worth it. It's quick and easier getting out, and the ride is great, especially at night when the lights of Pittsburgh come on. No down side the I saw, and an experience every fan should have at least once.

That sounds fun! I'll have to remember that the next time we go to a game. When we go to Paul Brown stadium, we eat at Willie's sports bar and take their bus to the stadium with all the Bungle fans.

Old school bus smell + Bungle fans = good times.

You no longer have to take the shuttle boat to Heinz as the subway now stops right behind the stadium. But I still highly recommend taking the boat anyway. Great experience, and you can have a drink while you're on your way. Well worth the $10.

Even if the subway is quicker, I would still take the boat. You sit having a drink with a good friend( surrounded by Steeler fans) , talk about the upcoming game and watch the river to by. Don't think I ever said thank you Eric.
