schefter said it was a "great" interview.
Will Favre please make a decision and stick with it, I've had it with Favre watch
Jay Glazer, one of the two guys who first reported the story, now thinks Favre will stay.
Here we go again. The media jumps on the first story that comes out because there's been so little to report this offseason.
Brett Favre.
They only want to pay him $15M for one year - he wants $18M.
the drama continues
A friend who is a cowgirl's fan sent me this...comments from the Dallas camp about Butt Fart's "retirement"
SAN ANTONIO The Cowboys were on the practice field when the news broke of Brett Favre's reported retirement from the NFL.
The immediate reaction: skepticism.
"Is that big news?" wide receiver Patrick Crayton said. "It's every year. It's Groundhog Day for him."
"Again?" coach Wade Phillips said facetiously. "Just use the same quotes I had last year and the year before that." (good one.... )

Actually feel sorry for Vikings fans, now I guess they see what everyone else saw, a selfish self important Favre, thinking of only himself, as usual.

Doesn't matter where you live, you bleed black & gold the same
Whether or not brett favre brett favres, it will be the brett favreiest brett favre to ever hit the brett favre. I can't brett favre enough about brett favre, and I'm not brett favreing when I say that. Anyone who brett favres brett favre, really has no concept of true brett favre.
Brett favre has done more for the brett favre than any one single brett favre in the last brett favre years. And if any of you brett favre that, just go look at brett favre, then try to brett favre me otherwise.
brett favre
...knee deep.
brett favre
I'll believe it when the papers are filed and the season is a few weeks old and he isn't in a uniform somewhere. This is his what, third time saying this....if not more (there were always rumors the last few years in Green Bay that he sent texts saying he was done only to stick around). So yeah, I'm just a weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-bit skeptical.

news flash per Coach Mooch "everyone needs to calm down" Butt Fart never told anyone "officially" that he was going to retire..."
Butt Fart has officially unretired for the 20,475 1/2 time in the last 7 years.
He is an attention whore

Brett Farve to retire. Hopefully the drama is over but I wouldn't count on it.
that's not even close to being true
the plot thickens
Vikings offer Favre $16 million plus incentives
Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Vikings have offered a $3 million raise to Favre, along with incentives that if met would push the total even higher
This doesn't mean Favre returns but hearing Vikes increased offer for 2010 base salary from 13M to 16M.
Brett Favre to retire. Yaaaaawwn.
If you wish to live wisely, ignore sayings............ including this one.
Heard on the radio that he texted teammates about the retirement but never text his coach . Messed up if true
While I'm not a huge fan of Porky Pig, that is simply excellent!"Again?" coach Wade Phillips said facetiously. "Just use the same quotes I had last year and the year before that." (good one.... )
CANCER - YOU PICKED THE WRONG BITCH!!!
A co-worker of mine is a huge Vikings fan and he just told me that they offered Favre $16million along with a bonus for $4 million. I don't care how much money he has, if this is true then how in the world do you turn down $20million? Unless you're at risk for a "severe" injury (concussion causes issues etc).

Brett Favre has told ESPN's Ed Werder that he will play for the Vikings this season as long as he's healthy.
To be clear, no final decision has been made yet. Favre is still testing his surgically repaired ankle. His presence on a Mississippi high school field Wednesday morning is obviously a positive sign. Favre denies sending a retirement text message to any Vikings personnel, and we still expect Favre to re-join his teammates before the start of the season.

This thread title lies - - - isn't it bout time to change it to RUMOR
Brett Favre WILL RETIRE...
Not as long as you have a hole in your ass.
We all know hes hurt . But he got his ankle injury in Jan during the NFC Championship game and got it operated on in May ??? Why wait ? Now its not healing properly ?
He will be starting for the Vikings by the 3rd preseason game. Just like last year. Same old Favre.
He will be playing. I really think he just wanted the extra attention and money... Not a fan of the person, but it sure is fun watching him play football.
