Justice would be perfect. If one of these UDFA can latch on as a guard and we have Justice to backup at Tackle...
Gilbert and Adams can both play either LT or RT, arguably so can Beachum, so if either of them is down we get Justice at RT... and he's still relatively young,
Gilbert - Foster/Beachum - Pouncey - DeCastro - Adams
Long - Beachum/Foster - Legursky - Golic - Justice
I love it
We may even have the ability to rotate tackles when they're not injured, to keep the OL fresh and from getting winded...![]()

Ugh, we could get more production from a lump of turd
Is there a reason we haven't resigned Starks? He was one of the bright spots on the line last year and I have yet to see either Gilbert or Adams play as well at the LT position. It's not like any other team has been knocking his door down so i can't see him being very expensive. He deserves a spot on this team if no other reason than he's handled Suggs better than any other LT over the past couple of years.
Starks is the much better player than Winston Justice, they should re-sign Starks and ignore Justice
What? Max Starks has more than adequate physical tools but his massive size gives him problems in dynamic run-blocking and he can struggle against good edge rushers. Most of all though, he has no killer instinct... I like Starks but there's a reason he never gets an offer from any other team he visits.
We have three guys right now who can all be a better left tackle than Max -- Adams, Beachum, and Gilbert... Justice is a better right tackle than Max. If we can bring in Justice, Max Starks has no business being on the team unless we undergo multiple O-line injuries once again.

I have to agree with st33lersguy on this one ... Justice has made a career on pre draft projections that just never came to fruition ....
he is not a very good Tackle and his stats cement that ... 20 1/2 sacks allowed in just 43 starts for his career and 21 penalties ( that are almost as bad as a sack ) http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/p...ts.asp?id=7788
Starks or Justice, either one I don't see playing (outside of giving guys a brief rest) unless we have not one but two tackles injured... that being the case Justice is three years younger and has a better football attitude, I'd bring him in to learn the system and take my chances.

Why does Max Starks have trouble finding work? He performs year after year and yet every offseason we try to get rid of him. I don't get it.

Winston Justice along with a 6th round pick was once traded for only a 6th round pick, if that says anything about him
Sign Max first - - then Bradshaw
then we can call it a wrap on FA's
