    Any IPL Cricket watchers?

The Indian Premier League is well underway this year. Anybody follow it? I watch the odd game when I get the chance.

Interesting games, but just love the crowds and how they get into it. Typical match is 2 1/2 - 3 hours because they only play 20 overs.

    Re: Any IPL Cricket watchers?

    Refuse to.

It has officially killed cricket in Australia. It is killing test cricket and giving India control over world cricket decisions.

All our juniors think they are chris gayle.
All our test players are princesses who know that if things dont go their way they can always whore themselves out to T20.

It is great entertainment. I think though it has taken the fight out of a lot of batsman. Look at David Warner, a t20 sensation used that momentum to become a test player. Now he is a test opener who bats like he is still in a T20. ( OH shucks, i got out, dont worry I can have another go tomorrow)

Chris Gayle this week. 100 runs of 30 balls and turned it into 175 off 66 balls. Refuses to play test cricket. This is now every kids dream.
