"They said they wanted to see into my safe and see if my guns were
registered," Moore said. "I said no; in New Jersey, your guns don't have to be
registered with the state; it's voluntary. I knew once I opened that safe, there
    was no going back."

    The panic and stupidity continues.

they need to file suit against the police department and child protective services , I seen the photo last night and read the article the boy was smiling from ear to ear , and their claim for showing up was they where worried he may be abused .... what abused child is smiling holding a new gun ( if he was being abused would he be the one holding the gun ?? ) a little bit of common sense goes a long way ...

clearly this is a case where the powers that be where all dollars an no sense/cents ( excuse the play on words I could not resist )

What cracks me up, is that we're constantly being called fear mongers and paranoid by the left, yet they call DYFS at the drop of a hat.

Hypocracy? It's a sad state of affairs when teaching your Son gun responsibility is viewed as criminal AND THEN responded to with harrassment and a show of force by your local government agencies.

...and there are still idiots out there who think corporations are a bigger problem/threat than the government.

What would be even more funny is if the guns were just realistic replicas. Maybe have the child holding one to their own head or something, to intentionally mislead the "social workers" and looking at their faces when they find that you don't own any guns.

Of course you'd have to video tape the entire scene to be sure that the idiots didn't pursue any criminal charges.
