I thought Foote did a decent enough job this year and if we bring him back I'll be alright with it and if he retires or moves on I wish him the best. FWIW I heard his name called for making more plays than a lot of other higher paid players this season.
but you probably dont think timmons gets washed out play after play thats if hes close to being in position or not circling the play because he cant handle contact. foote like farrior for the past couple years helps cover up the fact timmons is the softest ilb in the league.
I disagree. He was on his way to a career year in 2011 until he popped his hamstring against the Patriots. He hasn't been any good since though. I don't think he rehabbed himself right. That's not to say he was lazy, rather I think he bulked up to much and lost speed at the expense of strength. He needs to change his body back to where it was before that injury.
