He's been solid, nothing flashy, but for the most part consistent. Coverage certainly isn't his strong suit.

I thought Foote did a decent enough job this year and if we bring him back I'll be alright with it and if he retires or moves on I wish him the best. FWIW I heard his name called for making more plays than a lot of other higher paid players this season.

but you probably dont think timmons gets washed out play after play thats if hes close to being in position or not circling the play because he cant handle contact. foote like farrior for the past couple years helps cover up the fact timmons is the softest ilb in the league.

Timmons, unlike Foote, has a great burst and takes really good angles to the ballcarrier. He isn't great when contact is made but he does a great job avoiding and shedding blockers.

Really don't agree with you that he's the "softest ILB" either.

This. Woodley hasn't done much since he got his big contract.

I disagree. He was on his way to a career year in 2011 until he popped his hamstring against the Patriots. He hasn't been any good since though. I don't think he rehabbed himself right. That's not to say he was lazy, rather I think he bulked up to much and lost speed at the expense of strength. He needs to change his body back to where it was before that injury.

This. Unfortunately, he is a big cap hit. He needs to renegotiate, which I think he will.

I can see Khan and Colbert burning the midnight oil over the next few months. I don't envy their positions.
