Before the rah-rah crowd starts crying...I am not saying I do not want him signed. I just feel that a large deal may spell bad news for the Steelers. It's not like the Steelers are hurting at WR. IMO, signing him to a tender is a better way to go. Also, keep in mind the Steelers have a new OC to go along with the new playbook. Can Wallace figure it out? Is a large deal worth the gamble? If I recall correctly, the Steelers cap next year is in bad shape.
Yes, but If I'm correct, the cap goes up next year. I don't think it will be as big of a deal as it was this year.
