Two current coaches resemble Vince Lombardi (guess who?)

Vince Lombardi was born 99 years ago today. On the day that Peter King hands out his annual Father's Day book recommendations, we'll recommend everyone check out David Maraniss' "When Pride Still Mattered."

It's the best football biography I've ever read. Maraniss demystifies Lombardi -- the title is intended to be ironic -- while not losing the spirit of what made Lombardi so special.

Lombardi's birthday got me thinking about our current crop of coaches. What current coach embodies Lombardi best?
I'm going to leave Sean Payton off the list to avoid the angry comments, but he was under consideration. It came down to two men.........

Sorry, but comparing Lombardi to any of today's coaches is just plain ignorant. Nothing about today's NFL is even close to the NFL in the 60's besides the K and even that position has been wussyfied.

Tomlin could never talk 4 hours about one play like Lombardi, but with regards to leadership and discipline, I think he is very comparable.

I don't know about the comparison of Lombardi to Tomlin. I thought of Coughlin first before clicking the link.
