    Re: 2012 NFL DRAFT

I could really see us going a number of directions in the first round at this point.

Dont'a Hightower, John Martin, Mychal Kendricks, Bobby Massie, Nick Perry, Kendall Wright, Kevin Zeitler, Stephen Hill, Peter Konz, Jerel Worthy, Coby Fleener, Josh Chapman, Andre Branch... These are all possibilities. And there are probably about ten more I could list. But at this point it's time to finish the speculation regarding the talent of players and wait to see how everything plays out. Who knows who eventually ends up being within our reach when tomorrow night rolls around.

It will certainly be a fun, interesting night.

I'm hearing a lot more news lately of him being gone before our pick, with the possibility of the Ravens trading up before us to take him. If he is gone, I'd like to see an OG drafted. I can only dream that DeCastro would drop to us.

They probably take an OLB or a TE or some other position they don't need. Peter Konz might be the best player at a critical position of need if he can play guard

If the Steelers were to trade up, then I want them to trade up to take DeCastro from Stanford. I don't feel that there is another player worth moving up for in the first round for the Steelers.

If the Steelers stay at #24 (which is what I think they will do) then I want them to either take Hightower (if he's there) or the best guard prospect available (Konz or Zeitler).

Chandler Jones has been skyrocketing up the draft boards. Would not surprise me in the least if he went in the top 15.

If you're referring to Chapman's torn ACL, that's well-known. His agent said this, so take it with a grain of salt, but he is expected to be ready by training camp.

i wonder if the jets are that seriuous about trying to trade up to get richardson... they would have to give up a bit.. if i was part of the jets and evryone and their moms know that tim is gonna be starting soon.. i would trade sanchez, 1st and other picks to get cle's 4th pick and grab richardson..

    There has been a trade!

The New York Jets are now on the clock.

With the third pick, in the NFL Draft, the New York Jets select.... Ryan Tannehill, Quarterback, Texas A&M

That would be hilarious. As long as we get to hear Jets fans scream.

If the Jets took God, the fans would still boo.

The draft is 25% skill, 25% luck & 50% hype. "Jamarcus Russell could be a top 5 QB in a couple of seasons." OMG, he held up the Raiders and now he is a dumb, fat punk who will never do anything meaningful in his life again and he still hasn't reached 25 years old.

Without the ACL injury I think he is a 1st round pick, but I do look for him to slide.

With the 1st round climbers I think someone is going to slide and foul everyone mock drafts up. I have been hearing Glenn or DeCastro. I hope that is true.

Ravens are apparently seriously looking to move up... They've got to be targeting Hightower.
