    They have a LT.

Richardson worries me. He's scary good. True 3-down back.

Hopefully he'll get a career ending staph infection in Berea...

They're doing exactly what they should do if there's not a player there that they love. Cleveland gave up quite a bit to move up one spot, although they were 'extra' picks.

Agreed. That's why I've been hoping that they'd take Blackmon.

    ???

You actually expect him to stay in that organization beyond his first contract? After getting beat up by the Steelers and Ravens four times every year and watching the Browns continually making lemons out of lemonade...

I give him 3-4 years before he's out of the AFCN - unless he comes the Ravens or Steelers.

Nah, that's better for the Rams. Blackmon's not worth that spot.

They probably just take him instead of trade.

so far i am liking the fast pace of this first round.. no dicking around with the time and the pick since everyone and their moms knew who were going to be drafted

No doubt! The trades that happen are coming in fast...was really disappointed with how long Indy took to "draft" Luck.

They'll take Claiborne. With him and Finnegan, they've got 2 very good CBs. The Rams have 2 2nd round picks where they can get a WR. They also have 2 first round picks in each of the next two years. They're not turning that team around in two years so they have to build gradually.

Maybe Finnegan can read the playbook to Claiborne.

Well, there you go. Despite what was reported, the Rams weren't fixated on any one player. They could still get Michael Floyd or David DeCastro or Fletcher Cox.

They'll actually have a competent defense if that happens (and Clairborne pans out). It might not show this season (they have one heck of a tough schedule.)
