    Shit happens, there's a formula. The NFL doesn't say "Hey let's screw this team." The schedule goes off of the formula and then a computer takes that formula and sets a schedule based on the teams you're set to play away and at home and does the dates at random. Then the NFL sets the day (Thurs, Sun, Mon) and time for the games.
