it does not look too promising for him returning to the field. This is going on a year-plus, and a scary sounding injury to begin with.
is it just me, or does it seem like there are suddenly a lot of these injuries happening in general?

People are speculating that if he does retire , that he will go into politics. I sure as hell hope not. That guy can get into a booth or coach and be Damn Good at it.
