Signings actually began a while ago...I've read they signed former TCU WR Jimmy Young, CB Antonio Smith (I think he went to OSU), and former Texas A&M QB Jerrod Johnson all in addition To Kade Weston
Add OT Trevis Turner to the list...i thought he sucked.
Forgot to add that they also signed (from the PS) TE Jamie McCoy, DE Corbin Bryant and OL Malecki.

Along with former SC State LB Marshall McFadden. Blanc was a former DT at Auburn.
Trevis Turner & Corbin Bryant have MUCH potential. Neither of them suck !!! Actually, they both might be (draft pick) saving graces. There's a reason they have been kept on the practice squad all season and now signed to come back in to camp next year.
I agree with you on Bryant I liked what I saw of him. But Turner did not impress me during the preseason ever...more like Turnstyle.

"The Steelers signed 10 players today to Reserve/Future contracts for the 2012 season. Five members of the Steelers’ 2011 practice squad were among the 10players signed to the team’s 2012 offseason roster.
The Steelers announced today that OG John Malecki,TE Jamie McCoy, OT Chris Scott, OT Trevis Turner and DT Corbin Bryant have re-signed with the team after spending part or all of the 2011 season on the club’s practice squad. Bryant was the only player to spend time on the active roster in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Steelers also signed quarterback Jerrod Johnson, defensive lineman Mike Blanc, defensive tackle Kade Weston, cornerback Marshall McFadden and defensive back Antonio Smith."

Williams is sort of intriguing. Depending on what happens with Ward and Cotchery I could envision a scenario where he sticks.
Other than that the only name I really like at this point is Chris Scott. I'd be a little surprised if he doesn't make the active roster this year.

And Beiler will be the new guy Bob Pompanei, much to my frustration, will call the team's "Wes Welker" after he makes a five yard catch on 2nd and 14 in the third quarter of the second preseason game.
And it meets the Steelers' quota of having white receivers named Tyler since Grisham is gone.
