    2002 playoffs: Browns vs steelers

Take a look back at the 2002 AFC WIld Card Game between the Browns and the Steelers, where QBs Kelly Holcomb and Tommy Maddox engaged in an unlikely, high-powered offensive duel.

I'll always remember this game as Kendrell Bell's finest hour. Bell was absolutely unbelievable that day. Man...I wish that guy would have stayed healthy.

Tommy Gun was pretty special that 2nd half as well though.

One of my favorite Steelers victories ever.

    It was a crazy game!

And the week after against the Titans,it was also a crazy game, but unfortunately the Titans won 34-31 due to an unbelievable game of Steve McNair.

The 2001-2002 Browns looked like a team ready to compete in the North for years to come under Butch Davis. I really didn't think they would fall apart afterwards, but they did. Even though the Steelers won, I thought in the back of my mind that the Browns would be giving them competition for years to come. All three Browns-Steelers games were pretty close that year.

Kendrell Bell could've easily locked down the ILB spot for years to come, but just couldn't stay healthy. Too bad because I liked him. I also remember rookie Randle El making some huge catches in that game and had a punt return TD.
