Worilds a key figure on defense for Steelers

Outside linebacker Jason Worilds had an "a-ha" moment during a recent Steelers practice.
    Or so he thought.

"I was going over something that I thought I knew and it ended up being a mental error," Worilds said. "It just goes to show you that no matter how far along I feel like I've come, there's always stuff to learn."

Worilds is in his second season of learning Dick LeBeau's complex defense, and he is still making the transition from defensive end in college to outside linebacker.

But it is safe to say that the training wheels have been gone for quite some time when it comes to the Steelers' 2010 second-round draft pick.

Worilds has quietly emerged as a key figure on the Steelers' defense, due in large part to LaMarr Woodley's cantankerous hamstring............

He has player decently. Needs to get better against the run, but I'm sure he will.

We need an "Antion Brown" like draft steal on the D next year.

I can actually see him literally getting better and more impactful each game. The learning curve playing OLB for the Steelers is huge. He's done a great job, and, most importantly, you can see that he only lacks knowledge, and not skill...

But we have retards on this board who actually think that Woodley sucks, so I haven't bothered pointing out how well Worilds is coming along...why open another can of worms?

The "plug in" position. Even I could play there.

"We cannot let Josh Cribbs do to what he's done to us time and time again in the past. We've been dead Indians in his cowboy movie enough." — Steelers coach Mike Tomlin on importance of containing the Browns' return specialist

    Best. Tomlin. Yet.

Worst Second round pick evarrrrr hes a bust!!!

Im rooting for this guy to make it big in this team as a replacement for harrison. He adds a different repertoir when it comes to rushing the passer and you can see some O linemen struggle to block him when he dips and bends his hips and body. And I knew he was good because my HS coach made me know his name and what he was about . My first football start EVER in HS was against him. He kicked my ass lol, I learned what a good football player he was then and knew hed make it to the next level.
