Peyton Manning rehab update
The Indianapolis Colts announced Thursday, Dec. 1, that QB Peyton Manning's (neck) surgery in September "has achieved firm fixation." "Peyton will now be allowed to increase the intensity and breadth of his workouts as tolerated. There remains every indication that his recovery will continue. There still is no timetable for Peyton's return to practice, which is one of many steps in his expected return to game action," doctor Robert Watkins said.

Is it a sad commentary on the state of the NFL that the first thing I thought when I saw the title was that he was getting out of drug rehab? Or have I just been paying too much attention to the Bengals.

Im happy for him, just for the damn neck to heal. Honestly it will be such a tragedy for him if he had to retire under these terms. If hes playing again next season, I really see the Colts going all in and Peyton will play with a flamethrower up his ass and just anhilate everyone. Until he loses in the playoffs lol.
