I have no confidence in our running game.
The running game has never been good against the Bengals last 2 years.

This is a game the defense will have to win, but after allowing Bert to drive 92 yards for the game-winning TD last Sunday and the lack of turnovers, I'm not confident they can. If the weather was perfect or at least not windy, I'd be much more confident in the offense with Ben chucking the ball all over the lot. Preparing for disappointment, but hoping for the best.

Mendenhall has been running the ball better the last few games. In fact I'd go so far to say he's looked as good the last two weeks as anytime in his career. That said I'm not sure Ben and Arains have the patience you need to establish the running game?
If not hopefully Ben will be able to work the underneath game effectively like he did against the Patriots.
Regardless, if we lose this game the season is not over! We'll still come out after the bye and go either 5-1 or run the table. the only thing this game does is keep us in contention for the division title. Lose this, and that's pretty much over.

It would be another "superbowl" loss this year.
Russ and I went out to eat last night, to the mall, Best Buy and Sam's. The only football jersey besides Russ's Steelers one we saw was a Polamalu jersey on a guy that worked at Best Buy. Not a Bengals logo in sight.
