    Um wow that was unexpected. i guess Timmons stays at OLB where he is a lot less effective, not that i blame the coaching staff. We just dont have a lot of options. Well Mclendon did ok in his first career start, lets hope Sly does the same. Essentially we're starting 3 back up linebackers today fellas (Foote, Sly, and Timmons doesnt normally play OLB)...that's a match up i just dont like

    Worilds is out too so they can't really move Timmons back to ILB.

    I'm surprised that Foote isn't starting. I like what I've seen of Sylvester but with his limited experience, this is a bit scary.

    Carter may play some OLB, he has played some snaps in the last 2 games. That way Timmons can move inside. I wonder who takes over the play calling.

    This is a game the Offense has to win. The Defense is already at a disadvantage, but they most definitely are not going to help for **** today.

    Ben and the Offense needs to get over whatever demons they have against New England and step up big time today.

    Could work out in our favor if you ask me. The Patriots have owned Farrior the past few times we've played. Can't cover Welker; can't cover the TEs; can't cover the RB; ends up chasing WRs from behind after short passes and can't make the tackle; ends us chasing the RB from behind on running plays and can't make the tackle. Maybe having some fresh legs in there will actually help.

    I think this is a good idea. By playing more DBs, Polamalu doesn't have to match up in coverage.
