Relatively cheap, if you ask me. But let's be very candid. The Libyans deserve the vast majority of the credit for this, with the Europeans next. We "led from behind", so we are way down the list. Oh, I know Obama is going to parade around the figurative corpse of Gaddafi and act like he's Captain America again, but his role was ancillary at best.

Maybe so, but I thought the criteria for American involvement in this sort of matter was bleated very clearly and repetitively during the previous administration. Unless Gaddafi was somehow an imminent threat to the national security/sovereignty of the U.S., I fail to see how said criteria was met here....

Oh, it wasn't. Obama clearly overstepped his bounds, violated the constitution, and screwed the congress (which is interesting, as he was supposedly a Constitutional scholar). But it's Hopey, so he gets a pass...well, another pass, on top of the ones he got for Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and Gitmo.

He is a constitutional scholar. He is also aware of the mistakes the founding fathers made and he knows how the constitution should have read.
