How bout those "old" dogs?
How bout those "old" dogs?
Maybe that is the whole problem with the running defense. The D is concentrated on stopping the pass. Even more amazing when you consider Flaccoff put up over 350 in the first game.
Well it is a pass-happy league. Having a legendary run-defense didn`t help us in the Super Bowl last year.
We must now create more turnovers. But in the last two games, the defense has played very well.
If he plays a great game against the Patriots in week 8, we can say that our defense is great against the pass.
While they do need turnovers, at least they are stopping the opposing team on third down
Brady will have a good game though, that's pretty much a fact. The Ryan Brothers already made him look silly twice this year, and he'll be coming off a bye week for our game. The offense will have to win that game in what will be most likely a shootout
"We're a team. There's no offense. There's no defense. There's no special teams. We're one. We're a band of brothers." – Ben Roethlisberger
Half our games have been against bottom 5 teams as far as passing yards, so I wouldn't go gettin all excited about it yet.
Baltimore - 13th in passing
SEATTLE - 26th in passing
Indianapolis - 28th in passing
Houston - 11th in passing
TENNESSEE - 9th in passing
JACKSONVILLE -32nd in passing
Merry Christmas
Still.. After all the criticism of their age it's nice to see this defense ranked #1 overall. Someone give me Warren Sapp's e-mail, I wanna rub it in![]()
Green Bay and New England are 31st and 32nd in pass defense, and 1 and 3 in passing offense, now that would give the commish wet dreams of a 120 point shoot out.
Merry Christmas
I heard last night on ESPN AGAIN about our "old" defense and how they're fading.
