Now that the Bengals are 4-2 , matching the total of wins from last year already , who knew that it was Carson Palmers's fault the reason they sucked for years. He must feel like shit , lol

I'm laughing at Cartoon right now too. What I don't get is why he pulled his crybaby act after they got rid of Ocho and TO and brought in all that young talent at WR. You'd think the current situation in Cincy would be a veteran quarterback's dream.
To be fair, they've played a relatively soft schedule so far, and neither their defense nor Andy Dalton have really been tested. That said, Rosie probably doesn't care, because he's still getting paid to sit on his ass at home, and probably will for the foreseeable future if Dalton's progress continues to improve.
Actually he isn't getting paid. If you don't show up, you don't get paid. But if he were to show up one day, the rest of what he would be owed for the season would be guaranteed. However, if he showed and then went AWOL on them, he would get fined the maximum so he wouldn't get as much money.

Not a terribly tough schedule as of yet, but no NFL schedule is ever a cake walk. And I wouldn't say the defense hasn't been tested. They beat a pretty damn good team in Buffalo, who was ranked No. 1 in the NFL on offense at the time, I believe. And to say that a rookie starting QB hasn't been tested is a bit strange. He's been starting from day one in his first year off a shortened off-season. That's a pretty big test in itself.
And if the Jacksonville and Indianapolis games are any indication, the Bengals and Steelers appear to be pretty evenly matched at this point in the season. (Cincinnati beat Jacksonville 30-20, Pittsburgh beat them 17-13. Cincinnati beat Indianapolis 27-17, the Steelers beat them 23-20.) Add in the fact that they'll both have top 3 defenses after this week (not to mention inconsistent offenses), and it looks like they're in fairly similar boats.
Both boats, of course, are miles behind Baltimore right now.
They'll finish at 8-8 this year or a couple of games over and then be overconfident for next year and then suck once again with a harder schedule.
Yeah, they are literally a paper tiger.

Don't take them lightly. Their defense is going to give us fits.
But then there's Lamarr's affection for rookie QB's.........![]()

They have to be the only 4-2 team no one hears about. Granted, they haven't played a hard schedule, but 4-2 is 4-2. Cincy normally plays a hard game against the Ravens...and the Steelers.

I'm surprised at how well the Bengals have done this year. When the Bengals were cutting veteran after veteran, I honestly thought that they were going to have some tough years ahead of them. They have however, proved me wrong. It should be interesting what happens this year between us.
Whatever, it's all a fluke. This will all look silly when they finish 6-10 and everyone's talking about how things fell apart so fast after such a promising start.
At Seattle today. Not a real test, even with the 12th man.
