Steelers "win". Thanks to the Defense.
Ben, Arians, and the Offense. See me after class.
Pathetic game from the O. O Line was good, Mendy was great, Ben needs to get his head back.
A win is a win, but what was with Ben in the second half? Maybe he forgot the shopping list the wife gave him?

Did anyone watch the replay of that 3rd down? I could only find one receiver come out of the bunch pattern...what a useless play call. Lame display by our offense in the 2nd half. That team should have been buried. Hope Troy doesn't have a concussion.
Ben and Arians being greedy, and Ben deciding to take the rest of the game off is why this game wasn't the blowout it should have been. Like I said earlier, I realize the deep pass was there all day, but when your QB isn't hitting them, why keep going back to it? And that inaccuracy affected Ben the rest of the game when he starting missing easy completions underneath. Poor effort all around by the offense after the first 22 minutes of the game.

This should have been a blowout from the start. No excuses for anyone.
OK. On to see what the Ravens and Cowgirls are working with this week...
Jacksonville actually finished with more first downs than we did and had the ball a good chunk longer in the 2nd half than we did. Very disappointing display in a lot of ways in the 2nd half. That 17 yard drive was enough to make me want to stab myself in the neck. And where the F$%k was Lawrence Timmons? He didn't even have an assist. He's a goose egg on the stat sheet.
Absolutely coaching. On the offensive side of the ball, the team just stopped. There were poor play calls, the team just went flat, Ben was a mess. What happened to the three step drop, quick pass that worked so well last week? It showed up once or twice today and was positive. That third down play call to ice the game would've been a perfect spot to call it...definitely coaching takes a hit here...
Because it's stupid not to try to hit a wide open receiver who if makes the catch, walks into the end zone. You're the franchise QB and you already made this throw once in the game. You keep trying instead of finding an underneath receiver that isn't open or waiitng even longer and risk getting sacked.
Don't jump to blaming it on Arians. Just because a receiver goes deep, doesn't mean that the play is designed to go to the deep ball. It can but Ben can look that way because of the matchup and the coverage. Most reads are based on coverage.
