You got it - the Chiefs LB is just a rookie but he already knows rule #1 in the NFL

It's a tire fire
30th in the league in yards allowed per game, above only Tampa Bay (which fired its DC today) and the Chiefs (on pace to give up most yards in NFL history https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...n-nfl-history/ )
Steelers up to 21st in points and yards allowed per game

Didn't see it, but sounds like the Patriots turned on the cheating helmet again at the end of that game ...

Seriously? I guess manly men like you regard that to be acceptable behavior when the 21 year old punk who threw the beer (the pudgy guy with the backwards baseball cap and wannabe beard on the right side of the screenshot in the tweet below) knows a player who could beat that fan within an inch of his life cannot retaliate
Fun fact - what that jackass did is a crime and the Pats already have referred it to local law enforcement

Re: Week 6 Scores Around The League
The packers trail 7-0 against the 49ers early in the game
I expect the packers to win this game, but if they lose this game, Mike McCarthy's seat will be very hot!
They have a bye week next week and they play on the road against the rams after, so they must win against the 49ers, otherwise they have good chance to be 2-4-1 and if they miss the playoffs again, McCarthy will surely to be fired.

The Patriots own the stadium, they're their tickets, they can do what they want. The player gets a little beer on him and wants to sue? Please. It happens all the time, and a lot worse.

Re: Week 6 Scores Around The League

Not exactly sure. If he has season tickets, those can easily be revoked and the way things are now, most tickets are e-tickets and attached to an email address...but not sure how they can keep a guy out of a stadium of thousands of people.

You know what you said. You implied that since it happens all the time "and worse" that nothing should be done. This is also following previous comments saying it's just beer. So you tell me what you meant.

Fine, if that's all you want to hear.
It happens all the time. Get over it. Stop crying about it. Sh*T happens. It's only beer. Let the stadium owners take care of it. NFL games are a drunken party. What do you expect? Violent games produce violent crowds. R.I., which is probably where that fan was from, is a mafia state. So on and so forth. I could care less.
"I'm shocked, shocked, you mean there's gambling going on in here?"

OK, so if Hill had gone into "Ron Artest mode" and jumped up into the stands and kicked that guy's ass (which would have actually been completely deserved - major kudos to Hill for keeping his cool), you'd have been OK with that too? Because if frat boy would have pulled that stunt in a bar or just about any other situation, he'd have gotten some free dental surgery out of the deal.
A beer in the face = clobberin' time.

I had no problem with this at the time;

Jury says Celtics' Bird acted in self defense
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- A jury has decided a former member of the San Antonio Spurs' 'Baseline Bums' was hit by Boston Celtics' forward Larry Bird in self-defense and has denied the trucker's claim to $825,000 in damages.
The jury ruled Friday against Johnny Merla, who claimed Bird hit him with a leather tote bag after a game in January 1980. The jury deliberated four hours before denying the claim, saying Bird acted in self-defense.

The good news for that fan banned from Cheatriots Stadium is that he will be able to watch his favorite team in their home stadium again when the Patriots become irrelevant and he jumps on a new bandwagon

You could even give him some well-earned advice.

Re: Week 6 Scores Around The League
Only 63 points scored in the Packers 33-30 comeback win. Rodgers screwed around most of second half then toyed with 49ers defense on tying and winning drives in last 5 minutes. Packers loss that would have dropped them to 2-3-1 with @Rams and @Patriots next after the bye might have cooked their season
But basketball on turf with total points in the 60s to 80s apparently helps ratings so this is the future of the NFL
Sunday Night Football ties highest Week Six rating ever for NBC
Sunday night’s Week Six game between the Chiefs and Patriots matched the highest Week Six rating that the franchise ever has experienced....
In all, it’s the fifth straight week that Sunday Night Football has generated a double-digit increase over the comparable week in 2017.
So, yes, ratings continue to rebound for the NFL.
