What College Games Are You Watching Today?
With a little commentary too, please.
Starting with USF/ECU to watch Quinton Flowers TPO-king. ECU's QB Thomas Sirk has shown to be a very capable player himself. Big, accurate, leader, tough.
UGA/UT and PSU/IU to watch 2 dominant run games.
Finish the day with UM/UCF to see if Riley Ferguson can continue to impress nationally. I'm alternating with Clem/VT for probably today's best matchup. If these games get out of hand early I'll go to Ole Miss/Bama in a game I'm putting Bama on upset alert today. Keeping tabs on Mason Rudolph and OKState going up against TXTech.

I am taking a knee on watching all sports. I went to the gym, made a nice dinner for my wife and watching 3+ hours of George Harrison. Be sure to catch the entire movie on Netflix now!

Clemson V. Tech, will gauge how good both teams are, V. Tech and Clemson with their new QB

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
HOKIES!!!!! (I'm an alum of Va Tech)
It's a home game and ESPN Gameday was there.
I hope they can make it competitive vs the defending champs. I wish I was there.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
I'm pulling for VT tonight, but it looks like they are severely over matched on the interior of their o-line. Those two DT of Clemson are already wreaking havoc. Go Hokies!

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Watched my kids’ flag game earlier, then watched PSU/Indiana, the end of the MSU/Iowa game and now watching VT/Clemson and The Bama game

VT is young and the QB is a freshman. Clemson is just too talented and strong.
Also, 3 turnovers don't help. The bubble screens looked like they were pulled from the Steelers playbook. Hokies were way too tentative in the first half.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
It's scary to think that Clemson lost a lot of key pieces from their national championship team last year including their star QB and WR and yet they still look like a serious national championship contender. Va Tech is good, and I see them continuing to improve under Fuente, they are just not there yet

I tuned out about midway through the 4th quarter to catch the end of Texas Tech-Okla St. Your typical high scoring Big 12 game

Dabo is a great coach. Hats off to him and for making the ACC look good.
I like Fuente alot. He has brought the enthusiasm and new attitude to Va Tech. We'll get better in 2-3 years.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
A lot of ugly blowout games this week. Hopefully better games next week.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Seems the best games will be this evening. I plan to check out UCF/Navy first. Not a marquis matchup but should be a great game. UCF pass happy explosive offense against Navy's clock control, brutally plodding triple option offense.
Tonight I'll be back and forth between Ole Miss/LSU, Mich/PennState, and USC/ND. Great rivalry games and some playoff hopes on the line.
Who are you guys watching?

VT vs Da U tonight.
I hope we can get the W.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Luckily I recorded the Oklahoma-Oklahoma St. game. High scoring. Big play after big play. Fun to watch.

Thanks. :drink: Bitter sweet about the Big 10 and the playoff race. PSU had a big opportunity yesterday and let it slip through their fingers.

Penn State choked up big time two weeks in a row...

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
For some reason my team has played mostly on thurs and fri nights this season. I wanted to watch the OK/OKState game. Saw most of the VT/Miami game.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Does anyone else think that thug ass necklace Miami has is just completely stupid?
-
Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Not one of the better ones I've seen, but a lot of schools are doing the 'champ' bling for defensive turnovers. I've seen the wrestling style belt, the gangster hat, sunglasses, a cape, etc.

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Watched a lot of football today. Bama was lucky, Georgia got handled, ND was destroyed, Clemson was unimpressive.
My prediction for tuesday is:
1.Bama
2.Clemson
3.Oklahoma
4.Miami
with #5 Wisconsin
and #6 Auburn

Re: What College Games Are You Watching Today?
Rankings predictions
1. Bama (cause they're Bama)
2. Miami (33 points over no. 3 and undefeated, they will get a major jump)
3. Clemson (Will remain the highest ranked 1 loss team for as long as they have 1 loss)
4. Oklahoma (Lopsided win over no. 6)
5. Georgia (I don't see Georgia being dropped too far because of SEC bias)
6. Auburn ("OMG, beat no. 1 by 23 points, let's move them up")
7. Wisconsin (Iowa will be dropped out of the rankings which will give the committee a reason not to raise them up too much, also will lose out to the committee boosting Auburn and not bump Georgia down too much)

Not saying this can't happen, just curious. How do you put Ga 1 spot over the team that just crushed them? If you were to switch your AU and Ga rankings, I can get on board with yours.
I get the SEC bias, everyone knows it exists but nothing is done about it. Wisconsin SHOULD jump Ga in a fair world. The knock on Wis is the strength of schedule. Ga has played a 'patsy' schedule also but gets to claim SEC competition, like that is supposed to mean something profound. 1 loses, 3 loses, 6 loses, and 9 loses. 2,4,5,7,8, and 10 win, and should ALL jump ahead of the losers, IMO. Should be an interesting Tuesday.
