The Patriots agreed to a multiyear contract extension Wednesday afternoon with director of player personnel Nick Caserio, a league source confirmed to the Globe. Exact terms of the contract are not known.
Retaining Caserio brings important continuity to the Patriots, who have suffered several coaching and personnel losses the last few years, including Matt Patricia, Brian Flores, and several assistant coaches, plus current NFL GMs Bob Quinn and Jon Robinson, and several scouts on the personnel side.
But the Patriots have been able to keep the main pieces in place — coach Bill Belichick, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, and now Caserio, who is de facto general manager."

Yeah, and I bet she just loves him for his charming personality. I also bet she would stay with him if he lost all his money.

Seriously, "Patriots, Nick Caserio agree to contract extension" is legitimate "Around the NFL" news. Get over it.

Yes, here in New England we look down our Anglo-Saxon nose at the riffraff in the rest of the country.

Is it that or the generations of inbreeding and alcoholism has so fouled the gene pool that you're all just cross eyed? [emoji23]

The “I know you are, but what am I?” retort. Classic.
It’s second-cousin to the infamous: “I’m rubber; you’re glue... what you say to me bounces off and sticks to you.”

Wisconsin holds a special place in my heart. My younger brother moved there in the summer of 1999. That fall he went to a Packers game and left at halftime because he didn't feel well. About a week later they found a tumor in his brain. He died 5 months later. During those 5 months I flew out there probably a dozen times visiting him, taking his children, 7 and 10, to the movies, their hockey games, talking with his wife, etc. I will never forget it, or Wisconsin.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing family is never easy.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I actually think New Englands good.
I hope you took my comments in the light hearted way they were intended.

No it isn't but his kids both went to college and are living good, stable, lives. So it turned out much better than it could have.
