Re: Brown's Recovery Status
Brown officially back at practice today.
-
Re: Brown's Recovery Status
Ray F from the Post-Gazette says Brown was back a practice today and said he looked very good. So I am thinking that is the best sign yet he will be ready to go come sunday.

It’s a good sign, but...

I’m still worried about a re-injury.
Yes, we have gotten more info from credible sources (thank you to everyone for that), but everything I see & read says that AB’s attitude is “It’s the playoffs; I gotta play” which is the right mentality, but it’s not AB saying “I feel great.”
Those are significantly different statements. (Make sense?)

Re: Brown's Recovery Status
Tomlin isn’t the type of guy who would let that slide though...

Re: Brown's Recovery Status
Even if AB is only 70%....does anybody think the Steelers will come out and say that before this weeks game? As much misinformation as you can send the other way, the better.

Thing is that his turf toe is now probably 100% healed. So we may still have an AB standard product.

I heard about Burns. What's wrong with Tuitt?

Came out of today's practice with his arm in a sling. It's an elbow injury of some sort.

Come on guys.....this IS THE PLAYOFFS!!! Let's not freak ourselves out. If you can walk and contribute you will play. There is NO next game unless you win. If the game turns into a route in our favor, then yes you can pull and rest certain player's.....but you have to get to that point first. PLAY TO WIN !! AB will be out there, and anyone else that it 'hurting'....shoot 'em up and put 'em out like the old days. LOL

Re: Brown's Recovery Status
Antonio Brown's calf is good to go. His immune system? Not so much.
The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver was sent home from practice Friday with an illness, coach Mike Tomlin told reporters. A source close to situation described Brown's illness to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero as an intestinal issue.
Tomlin added that Brown has "looked really good" this week in his return from a calf injury and said the move to send him home was strictly to avoid getting other teammates sick.
Brown is officially listed as questionable with both the illness and calf injury, but he's expected to play.
