I heard rumors they were going to trade Kessel, I wished they hadn't. I can only hope it works out well for both sides of the trade.

Sorry to see Phil go and I wish him well.
Enjoyed Kessel while he was here. Definitely helped contribute to the cup success(es), imo, but apparently wasn't interested in some of the coaching requests to help cover the awful blue line play. For an offensive minded goal scorer, I can sort of understand. Some may say he had a little Diva in him and could be hard to work with, but if you are being asked to try and help cover disasters like Jack Johnson... that's the guy that should have been out the door.
As a Rangers fan, I always wanted Kessel when he was available, not now.... on the downside IMO.
Always liked his game, has the natural hands of a goal scorer.
