Could the Jets Already Be Looking to Move LeVeon Bell?
First there was the quick exit of Jets GM Mike Maccagnan, replacing him with current new Jets coach Adam Gase as the teams’ new GM.
Now New York has even more of a media circus, as there’s rumblings that the team might actually be LOOKING TO TRADE newly signed running back Le’Veon Bell.
Here’s a tweet from earlier today about the situation.

But, it's very unlikely ... nobody will want Bell at this salary ... I mean, the Jets were the only team to offert a contract like that to Bell. And of course, Bell brings a lot of drama in a locker room ...

Good luck finding a trade partner. May have to settle for a 7th rounder in 2021 or someone else's 3rd stringer
Re: Could the Jets Already Be Looking to Move LeVeon Bell?
What would that do to our potential 3rd round comp pick?

It is only the salary that the player receives that counts
The rest means nothing

I don't think that has figures into the equation, I remember when the Bengals got a comp pick for they re-signed that same offseason (Michael Johnson who re-signed with the Bengals after a 1-year stint with the Bucs)
Re: Could the Jets Already Be Looking to Move LeVeon Bell?
$8 million in signing bonus money for a guy who never played a snap for you ... that would be a new record. Well done 10/10!

The Jets make a big effort to be the most dysfunctional team in New York with the Giants, Knicks and Mets
Seriously, except for the New York Yankees, the other teams in New York are just terrible right now!

In the locker room Bell brings little to no drama to the team...it’s the outside the locker room they’d have to worry about and compared to someone like AB, it’s minimal...lol

Maybe, except when he arrived late in a meeting before a playoff game, but no matter I wanted to say the same thing!
All that is, not be with your teammate during the training camp, regular season or mini camp, even if the mini camp is not mandatory, it's a big headache for a team .... especially that your teammates have always need to answer the question of your absence
I would not be happy if I would be the Jets that Bell does not show up in the mini camp ... I know it's not mandatory, but you're new to the team, the jets need you to create a chemistry with the team and with your young QB.
As I said in a another thread, if the Jets fans thought that Santonio Holmes was a cancer, they just need to be patient with Bell, since it's coming and to another level ... Yeah maybe not if he is traded.

I do not think you're serious, but it will not happen because they're in the same division!
If Gase does this trade, he'll be the first HC ever to get fired before his first game!
