The fans reportedly went apeshit over this as well. Shows the difference. I'm an OSU fan, and I know what a physically gifted athlete this kid is, and I was cringing at the thought of us selecting him because of his demeanor and attitude.
Raiders fans must simply lack a conscience.
Al saw his scrambling ability and couldn't resist. Perfect fit for his system. Goes for athleticism and not for the stuff that makes an NFL-caliber Quarterback.
Jarmarcus Russell v2.0, won't be as bad as him, but not as good a QB either.
I told you some poor run organization would put up a 3rd round pick for him...
With proper coaching he could turn into a servicable qb. But with Oakland he becomes an after thought.

Was reading that only two players have ever successfully made the transition from QB to WR in NFL history (There was some hairsplitting over guys like Josh Cribbs and Hines Ward).
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what they do with him. My guess is they will try to make him into a QB. He's a better passer than people give him credit for...a better passer than Tebow ever was. But he doesn't have the head for NFL QB, IMO.
