Hopes and Dreams, biten by a bunch of DAWGS

Yes, this is a game to remember for this long long heated rivalry. Yes we have lost 17 straight years in the Steelers house and with a playoff birth going to the Steelers house once again, we expected to have our hands full. But, from the very first play, it was going in favor of the Dawg from Cleveland. And it just went down hill from there. Yes the 2nd half was a desperate comeback, but once the Steelers, scored, we went down field and score as well.
I didn't expect this game to turn out the way it did, but this will be a memorable game for many years to come. The Cleveland Browns have taken a bite into the Steelers hopes and dreams of going to the Super Bowl.

I congratulate the Browns on a long, long wait for a trip to the post-season, and an even longer wait for a W. I started to say “long overdue”, but reconsidered. To be frank, the Browns have long suffered due to gross mismanagement. The wasted first round draft picks and the Mardi Gras parade of head coaches and starting QB’s boggles the mind. But maybe the ship that’s been foundering a quarter century is starting to run on an even keel.

Next week you face Mahomes and Co. at Arrowhead. Should you survive that, you will either face Buffalo at Bills Stadium or the Ravens at M&T Bank. Either way, it’s a tough road to hoe. Especially as the Browns D can give up some points at times.

Hi CROW, not to put down anything, but if it wasn't for the Browns leaving Cleveland, your Ravens may not have ever been established. But lets go BROWNS , off to KC. Could you imagine the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP BROWNS-RAVENS? Browns vs former Browns !!!

And if the Colts had never left Baltimore we’d have lost yesterday to the Bills. It is what it is. And yes, I can imagine it well. A Browns-Ravens AFCC in Baltimore would be awesome. We’d be playing for a chance to go 3-0 in SB’s!

Actually if you followed the Steelers season at all, the Steelers did that themselves. There was no hopes or dreams of a Super Bowl this year after the post 11-0 implosion. None. I don't think many expected to win this game. I certainly didn't.

This Browns team really stepped up their game this season. They went from an 0-16 laughing stock to the divisional round loser in only 3 seasons.

Nick Chubb is the only guy you can point to on offense that gives them a chance. He's a handful.

Come next year when they actually have expectations and harder schedule, they'll have a losing season and miss the playoffs again, like usual

Browns fans will be celebrating this win for years to comes.

I'm sure this is how the Jets fan felt 10 years ago when they beat the Pats in the playoffs. A nothing franchise that finally got an upset win on big brother. This equals a Super Bowl.

Mayfield earned his 5th year option I think. Good core of players and a coach they believe in. Best RB tandem in the league for now. Will have to see if they can afford to pay all that talent going forward, but they are still $40 million better off than the Steelers in way of the cap.

The Steelers organization has gone through a stretch of winning multiple super bowls, wat he'd that run end, and then watched them rebuild and go on another run that saw them win multiple super bowls.

The Steelers franchise and ownership has proven themselves over decades.

Get back to us when they win another one, and their first one without cheating. At least we know our team has done it before.

On the bright side, maybe Patriots ownership will open a chain of message parlors with reasonable rates.....so you got that going for you.
