I'm not sure I'd be calling QB draws with my young QB coming off knee surgery.

Based on what I can see in the short passing game, there is a TON going wrong that has nothing to do with the WRs being open or not. I assume the exact same is happening in the deep game.

And because the QB knows he is no longer accurate and precise, he will NOT throw in between the hashes or into small windows. Therefore, he pumps and pulls it down while waiting to only take moonball shots along the sideline that minimize the chance of an INT. Additionally, this lack of faith in throwing ability and desire to avoid INTS at all costs has totally removed the intermediate passing game as well.

This creates a passing attack with like 4 routes in it. That is why it looks so bad. The end.

It’s clearly the reason he’s holding the ball. You can’t say the receivers are open downfield and then have Ben holding the ball forever, scrambling and the announcers saying the receivers aren’t open. Those are pretty clear signs as to why he’s not throwing it. Accuracy has nothing to do with the argument as to if the receivers downfield are open or not.

It does. That is my point. If you are ONLY willing to throw to WRs that are open by 3 steps on a go route down the sideline, it super-duper limits you. If you are NOT throwing the in breaking curl at 15 yards along the left hash because the WR only has a small narrow window that you can not hit reliably....that's gonna be a problem.

They said Ben has a pectoral injury. There's your excuse.

You mean the young QB standing in the pocket for 30 seconds with no pass rusher within 5 yards of him throwing to a young receiver open by 5 yards in single coverage?

I was watching the Phillies/Pirates game last night and the broadcasters had Brian Dawkins from the Eagles on and he said he knew it was time. He said he remembered watching his heroes stay past their prime and never wanted to be that guy.
