That’s all because of a Tomlin. Had they had Adam Gase, Davis Shula, Nathaniel Hackett or Josh McDaniels they would won multiple playoff games and Super Bowls.

Those that want to replace Teryl Austin, would you rather have Vrabel?
Austin couldnt get pressure on Winston. All they had to do is double TJ? Was it that easy? Not an impressive display of coaching.
Not enough, How did they get into that 4th and short? By moving the ball. How many knockdowns, pressures did Winston have? He regularly had plenty of time to throw. You have to entertain the thought that we were out coached and outplayed yesterday. It happens, specially on a short week.
No shit football is complicated. Lots of factors alright, including biases right?
Ok. But you’ve got nothing backing anything you’ve posted.
Maybe Winston got the ball out in 2 seconds on his drop backs. If that’s the case it’s not a pass rush issue but a coverage issue.
What’s Cleveland’s record with Winston as the starter?
How effective has their run game been as Chubb has returned to health?
So that's the latest excuse. Tomlin posts a mediocre 9-8 record year after year, but rather than it being a mediocre coaching job it is a GREAT coaching job because the team was really 5-12. :rofl2:
Using that "logic", Matt Canada did a great job last year because his offense got six wins in the ten games he coached when the team was really a 2-8 team. :willy:
So Tomlin had nothing to do with those rosters. It's all Colbert and Rooney's fault. Nothing is ever Tomlin's fault. :der:
I'm surprised he keeps re-signing with such an incompetent organization.

And the sticker should say "GOOD OL' BOYS"
Guys like you frustrate me. Fansince76 owns this site and, out of generosity, chose not to shut it down last January. He doesn’t owe an explanation to you or anyone else on this forum. Let’s not forget that everyone here is a guest. Yet some of you act like a dog marking a fire hydrant, foolishly thinking it’s your territory.
i watched the game, he had more time than Russell. Just a matter of fact if you watched the game. I dont know if TJ was playing hurt but he was doubled at least some of the time and i saw mostly 4 man rushes as Winston completed passes again and again. Again, no in game adjustment by the steelers to neutralize a mediocre Qb and a patchwork o line. Austin and Tomlin have been looking good lately and i applauded Tomlin for making Wilson the starter. But this game they all stunk with few exceptions. That includes Austin and Tomlin (by giving the browns an extra down, to misusing Fields, and not having the team prepared on a short week). I give Tomlin a pass because it was a-short week but again, this is what i expect from a tomlin team.
