Are you joking? I can’t tell if this is satirical or you are just that obtuse…

As for Kenny, basically he didn’t show enough on the field for Khan or Tomlin to feel any need or desire to keep him. Even as a backup. And they must have decided that he would be more toxic to keep around. I don’t see Khan wanting to purposefully do Kenny a favor by trading him. It was done because he felt it was better for the team. That’s saying a lot about Kenny without saying a lot
So his sophomore season when he was thrust into the starting lineup and the covid game where he didn’t get starter reps vs the Lions. You know that Lions game where he lead two game winning drives but DJ and Freiermuth fumbled them away.
What about the end of last season where he had a 120.4 QB rating, 75% completion percentage, 716 yards with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Does that not count?

Come to think of it, did Ben pen something like that when he retired?
Counting college, he was in Pittsburgh much longer than Fields was in Chicago. And only one less as a pro. Kenny can do what he wants, I was just asking if he’d made any statement.

I don’t think he did. He thanked Pitt when he became a Steeler. I remember that. But I’m not sure Ben wrote a thank you either?

Did Derek Watt mention teammates in his retirement thank you?

This aged well.
Having two Questionable Quarterbacks on what is effectively a one-year deal isn't exactly a long-term plan. Justin Fields is set to make 25 million on his fifth year option if the Steelers decide to pick it up.
Wilson is gonna be shoved to the Bench eventually and Fields will see action.

nothing wrong with that message. Given the circumstances. Only thing I didn’t like was his confession that he’s a lifelong eagles fan. They’ll like that in Philly.

Maybe but they are both still better that Rudolph,Trubisky and Pickett.I would be surprise if the steelers are a bottom 5-10 offense again.I expect the steelers to add a WR in the draft, free agency or trade market too

In what way exactly?
One is a QB whom the Broncos are willing to take on a salary just so they don't have to deal with him anymore.
The other is another reclamation project that the Bears gave up on. Not unlike a certain someone.
I sure hope you're right.

is this Mason Rudolph’s cousin posting? You cannot be serious. Are you seriously seriously thinking we had a Super Bowl QB for 6 years and we failed to discover his full potential? And all the other teams also failed to discover who he really is and only was offered a one year tryout with a bad team for $3.2 million? C’mon. Mason is a career backup. He had many starts as a Steeler and failed to distinguish himself as a franchise QB. Even Duck Hodges and Chase Daniels won games in this league. So winning a few games doesn’t mean he’s starter material. He may have been the best Steeler QB last year but that is like saying he is the tallest midget.

Mason was drafted in 2018 so 2020 would have been his "sophomore year" Muth was not drafted until 2021 so apparently he was moonlighting as a steelers TE a year before being drafted in order to drop a TD pass vs Detroit ...the good news is we drafted him anyways

Mason Rudolph showed in the last three games that he can play in this league. Is he going to be Ben Roethlisberger? No. But he can definitely have a productive and perhaps a Super Bowl ring NFL career.

You don’t know what other options he had. What we do know is he chose a team with a second year QB and a new coaching staff that isn’t married to Levis to sign with. He chose a place where he can at least be given a fair shot to start. In my opinion that’s all he ever wanted. A fair shot.

Where is Duck Hodges now? He wasn’t just better he was Andre the Giant compared to them. Trubisky and Pickett couldn’t hold his jock strap.
All the Rudolph hate comes from unintelligent football fans that don’t understand the game. You clearly fit in that category.

Well....that was well and truly over the line.

Well, she mentioned his 2019 or his “sophomore” season and THEN she mentioned the Lions game. I was responding to BOTH the 2019 season comment and the Lions game in 2021 comment. You know. Freiermuth’s rookie season.
Try to keep up skipper.

I respectfully disagree. I think he was given a fair shot. He failed to capitalize

He capitalized the last three games of the season and it lead to the opportunity he has in Tennessee. What he does from there is anyone’s guess but I personally will miss his respectability and professionalism. Pickett on the other hand was and is a whiny bitch and I hope the door hit him in the ass on the way out.

he won some games but he wasn’t like “wow, we gotta sign him to a new contract” and we didn’t. But I agree with you about his professionalism. He was a class act.
