I was above you, I sat in section 322 on the first base line too.

im not sure ive ever seen A homerun on a broken bat before.... Chris Davis has some serious power. good game.
Hoping the Pirates get a win tonight, it would be nice.
Swept, and looked horrible doing it. Back to sucky reality, Pirates fans.
Just not enough Offensive Firepower to keep pace with the AL teams in their AL ballparks. Happened last year in Cleveland, happened again here.
Solid Pitching and Mediocre Offense works against the Dregs, but not against teams that can actually hit.
Alright Bucs, get your stuff together and get back on track.
Great way to bounce back, especially after what happened in Baltimore, although 2-4 wasn't the ideal roadtrip, I'll take it considering the circumstances.
With the injuries that have infested this team, dare we bring up Locke and see what he can do as a starter. I am not sure how comfortable I am with sending Lincoln out every fifth day AT THIS POINT. Although I am willing to let him work his way through.
Pedro seems to finally seems to be waking up (but didn't we see that a couple of weeks ago:rofl:) None the less it's good to see him get four home runs on this road trip. The thing to keep in mind though with him, is that he is a streaky batter (He was like that in Altoona too).
Anyway, get a good rest, and see if they can go 4-2 on the homestand against a Twins team that they can get fat off of, and a Detroit team they can snag a game or two off of.
Lets Go Bucs!
Pedro Alvarez = Dave Kingman. I'm absolutely convinced of that now. 30 HR, ~100 RBI, .210 BA and 150 K.
I think J-Mac and A.J. settled the team down after the 4-game losing streak, too. A.J. has been worth every penny so far this season. And please for the love of all that's sweet and good, get Lincoln out of the damn rotation and call up one of their hot pitchers from AAA. How many more terrible starts is it going to take before they realize he is NOT A STARTER!?!?
I am talking about the pitching staff more so since we haven't had the likes of Karstens for months and the hit and miss appearances of Bedard. I am not stunned about Bedard to an extent. He has had a history of it, although I am impressed it was just a short stay. Good to see he may be able to stay healthy, but I will reserve judgement about him still being "injury prone."
Hoping the Bucs can win tonight and take this series. It would be two in a row!
Well, they're in the middle of making a guy with a 1-7 record and 6.42 ERA look like Cy freakin' Young. Superb job, boys.
Great win tonight. That is the second straight series they've won. If anyone missed it, J-Mac pitched the entire game striking out six, Cutch had a bases loaded-bases clearing double, and Pedro hit his thirteenth home run that went out of the park.
Nice bounce-back game. Now at least win one game against Fister or Scherzer (Verlander is an automatic L).
18-8 last 26 games
Can't believe they took this series. Verlander will give them a sound spanking tomorrow, though.
Got some tickets to see the game in Philly monday. Can't wait! Hopefully the Philly fans are not as bad as I have heard, still worth it to see my Buccos!
They battled Verlander today but lost 3-2. Chris Resop needs to be exiled to a remote island in the Pacific for sucking so damn much.
On to Philly, where I feel they're going to get swept. This will finally be when the Pirates begin their annual free-fall.
Wow, the Bad News Bears have shown up.
So they choose tonight to play terrible defense, and not only that, they have lost Barajas to a bone bruise. Karstens gives up 7 runs in 5 innings after so many people on the Pirates' page thought he was the "savior."
And so it begins...
Well, we lost this series, but we could still win tomorrow. I believe we play the Cards next.
its a 4 game series, so there is still the chance of splitting the series, especially with out 2 best pitchers playing the next 2 games.
J-Mac and A.J. being called upon to be the stoppers again. Wonder if they're getting tired of carrying the other 3 bums yet?
Well, looks like they are trying to blow it again. If they lose this game I hope this is not the Atlanta Braves' overtime moment. Could really put us in a tail spin.
Nice to see us battle back.
