When Facebook, YouTube (which is owned by Google) and Twitter subsequently removed footage of the press conference you have to start questioning why? What is the end game of these companies? Clearly they are not doctors.
Remember all the studies that said HCQ didn't work ...

Wonder how come all these “banned” videos on “resurface” on sites trying to sell me stuff?
Are these brave patriots incapable of purchasing a domain name and hosting a website?
Has no one explained “Go Daddy” to them?
I’ve also noticed that several were quick to post outdated Twitter mess about the Florida counts but have been strangely silent on Texas undercounting for some time. I guess your Twitter hive mind hasn’t uploaded that talking point?
This is the video in question. Just posting it up so everyone can listen and take it how they want.

MLB shuts down the Phillies until at least Friday. Marlins shut down until at least August 3rd.
They should really just do a 12-game season. Division and Conference games and that leaves 4 weeks open for make up games. Easy to just fill those weeks up as they go...
They should really just shut the whole thing down. This is nuts trying to play pro sports at this time.
Don't blame them.

Dont'a Hightower, Patrick Chung push Patriots to six players who plan to opt out for 2020 NFL season
Linebacker Dont'a Hightower and safety Patrick Chung are the latest members of the New England Patriots planning to opt out of the 2020 NFL season, giving the Patriots a league-high six players set to do so.
A day after Patriots fullback Danny Vitale and offensive lineman Najee Toran and Marcus Cannon indicated they would stay home this season, Hightower, Chung and running back Brandon Bolden all revealed that they would do the same. Hightower, like Vitale, recently became the father to a newborn.
“Me and my fiancée are just more concerned with the health of our family than football — especially the new addition to our family,” Hightower told NFL Network.

This virus will fade away the day after the election.

LOL here we go with the "counts" nonsense. I wonder how many of the 14 Florida Marlins are even showing signs. I wonder how many will die from this DEADLY virus? Willing to wager me that none die?
I love how you say "right wing" sites. I'm sure you get all your information from Rachael Maddow.
It is done with, it is just an ordinary disease like many others. All that is left is when they will decide to stop the grossly disproportionate response that has been done for this disease alone in all of history.
Here is the COVID-19 situation: Either you will get the coronavirus or you won't. Odds are slightly better than 50-50 that you will at some point, and if you do get it, you are extremely unlikely to die. Old people and frail people, avoid it like you would with any other illness.
That's it. That's the disease. It doesn't cut down 25-year-olds in their primes, and it doesn't overwhelm the hospital system. The only question is whether you want to spend the next five years being miserable because somebody made snap decisions based on incorrect information back in March, or whether you want to stop in the next five minutes. It is pretty clear that the only reason this shit is still going on is because somebody still wants you miserable.
I don't blame them. It's a choice. That's how it's supposed to work. A choice.
I understand, and I largely agree with you. I'm just saying that you and I have no say in it. If we want to move on, we have to do what they want.... agree with them or not. I want to move on, so I am willing to comply..... at least for a time.Quote:

That's the thing - I don't think it is even about complying. What I have seen so far is that people have met their ridiculous goals several times, and every time, they have moved the goalposts in order to continue.
First it was "flatten the curve." Ok, that was accomplished a long time ago.
Then it was "Don't overwhelm the hoapitals. It's just for a few more weeks." Ok, the hospitals weren't overwhelmed.
Then it was, "Deaths are way down and declining every week, but we've decided it's still too many. We have to eliminate them altogether. It's just for a few more weeks."
Then it was "Virtually no one is dying anymore, but it's too many cases. Lock down again, it's just for a few more weeks."
Then on to, "All these cases aren't really doing much, so now it's percentages. Lock down, it's just for a few more weeks."
Now we're at, "All these cases and percentages still aren't producing mass casualties or overwhelming the hospital system, so we'll freak out over potential cases that could happen in the future. Schools are closed this fall."
Do you really think that the plan is to just leave us alone and try to get back to normal as soon as they hit some number they chose? No, then it'll be a different number or a different standard. What is going on is that these people fucked up so badly with their overreaction that they have to justify it. As soon as life returned to normal, everyone would see that nothing bad was happening and it was all a big mistake, and they would be PISSED. Like, a "public officials being thrown in jail or dragged through the streets" kind of pissed. So they can't let it get back to normal too fast. The longer it is dragged out and made the center of everyone's existence, the more it becomes larger-than-life, and the more people will grudgingly say ok, the initial reaction was not completely out of line. That is the ONLY thing it is about at this point. Complying or not complying isn't going to matter for shit - it is only about whenever these disgusting people think you've been worn down so much that you will be so glad for a return to normalcy that you are willing to let them off the hook.
Meanwhile, in India, blind testing of the general public reveals that almost 60 percent of the population has had the coronavirus in the Mumbai slums, where there is no such thing as social distancing or listening to stay-at-home orders when you are one day's pay away from going hungry.
https://www.ndtv.com/mumbai-news/cor...-areas-2270412
Surely the slums are decimated, and they are knee-deep in the dead by now.
Just kidding! It's the same death rate as everywhere else. Fewer dead per capita in Mumbai than in all the European countries that "did it right" and put the dumb ol' U.S.A. to shame with their severe restrictions.
It seems all you have to do is not do anything tremendously stupid, like shoving infected people into old folks' homes, or being extremely generous about what you classify as a "COVID death," and the thing runs its course at 0.05% of the population or less. Not 5%, not 0.5% - zero point zero five percent, 0.05%.
Whoopsie.
But, but this goes against what the media is spoon feeding everybody.

It’s just like the virus itself, it’s affects people different ways. It’s really common sense. This is the only thing the media is spinning both ways...lol. You know unlike all the other stuff that the whole media is in cohesion on until the election is over. Because you know, no media outlet ever runs to the forefront with a breaking news story that goes against the grain to make. Name for themselves or anything like that...
