I own guns and hunt. I am fine with restricting the ownership of military type assault rifles from citizens that are not in the military. Doesnt seem immoral.
Promoting vaccination from a virus isnt immoral in my mind. I got vaccinated for measles, mumps and rubella long time ago and thankfully have never had any of those. I dont see how vaccination is political or immoral. Its just makes sense from a public health perspective.
You need to let go of the former president. He isnt the best chance for the GOP to regain the White House and the longer that the GOP hangs onto the notion that he is, the longer they will be putting a Democrat at 1600 Penn. Ave. But if you wish for it, you will continue to be disappointed.

It's not just about promoting vaccination, it's trying to strongarm American citizens into taking a vaccine with lots of potential side effects while the companies try to make you waive your right to sue for any side effects all to protect from a virus with well over a 99% success rate. You missed the part where he says he knows all about guns, and then in the very next sentence thinks that military-type assault weapons are available. Just like that whole gaggle of morons who think an AR-15 is a "military-style assault weapon," and that "semiautomatic" means the same thing as a machine gun.
Of course, that's on par with thinking that the exorbitant cost of healthcare is a major problem, and also that the solution is for the government to lock in those same high prices and force everyone to pay them up front. Hey, if it says "free" on the bill, the $20K you already paid to the government doesn't count, right?
There are a frightening number of misinformed people on these issues, who nonetheless feel very confident in smugly spewing their backward opinions and laughable ideas about them. It's no crime to be misinformed; it's just embarrassing. But it is dangerously irresponsible to be so misinformed and also attempt to loudly bully your way into making it public policy. Haha, that's funny.
An AR-15 is a "military-style assault weapon,". It isn't a military weapon but it is a "military-style assault weapon,". Key word being "style". And BTW, most of the time soldiers or Marines don't use either full auto or a 3 round burst. Most of the time they use semi-auto. So when you are using an AR-15, which is semi-auto, you are using what an 11B10, or 0311, uses most of the time.
