Rudolph is an average career backup QB…at absolute best. He’s proven it for 5-6 seasons.

The amount of offers and money Mason got in FA should show just how much the league valued his play to end the season.
Vikings gave “lemme do my research” lego face 10 per and he is nothing special at all.

just shows how much ‘the league’ knows. They’re making mistakes on handing out contracts to Qb’s all the time. Best evaluation is to watch the Qb’s play directly.
also we’re assuming he didn’t get any other interest or offers. That’s a big assumption. He might’ve taken the Titans job because that might be the most likely place he becomes a starter.

I doubt he had a ton of offers and he landed in a weird spot competing with Willis for the #2.
He may win that gig and then Levis goes down and he plays. Who knows..
but a lot of folks thought Mason was about to get a nice raise and it didn’t happen.

I’m sure it wasn’t the only offer but it does seem like there weren’t a lot. Then again, no one was busting down Russell Wilson’s or Field’s doors either.

Why are posters here still whining about Mason Rudolph? He's on another team just in case you didnt know.
This is all about "Unlimited" Russ turning back the clock 10 years and playing like a Super Bowl champ.

No, this is about the Steelers improving their QB situation for 2024. Did they or didn’t they?

why are some posters still bashing the guy? Some of us are just replying and putting some perspective to their posts. They should let it go, some people just like to pile on.
maybe Russ can replicate Ben’s sandlot style. If Smith will allow that. I give Russ one year of good play.

You guys: To win in the NFL you need a clutch quarterback.
Me: Kenny was clutch.
You guys: Well since Tebow was clutch being clutch can't be important.
:rofl2:

Re: Steelers Plan To Sign QB Russell Wilson To Long-Term Deal?
This will get decided by the play on the field. I have a feeling these reports came from the Wilson camp.

Not unless it involves firing Tomlin and criticizing every move the team makes.

There's no better way to avoid legitimate discussions than to accuse the people who disagree with you about something of not being interested in legitimate discussions. :boink:

When you can't debunk something someone else posts, try to discredit it because it was posted at night. :willy:

If you go back and read the exchanges you'll find that it was the other guy who started the confrontations.
Just like now. :boink:

“Other guy” or “other guys”? :boink:
And actually, it’s quite the opposite in this case. I was speaking with MojoUW. Never mentioned your name…and MojoUW was responding to Desert Steel. Again…not your name. :boink:

Mojouw may have been responding to Desert Steel, but he was talking about me. So when you replied to him you were speaking about me too whether you said my name or not. And you know that.
You know, there's a guy on this board who just showed that he's a lying asshole. But you'll never know who it is since I'm not mentioning his name. :boink:
