It's getting very close now.
You can feel the pressure and nerves building up here.
Please get someone great. Please get someone great.

Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
I have a feeling Skins will take Billings...and then we have to decide Hargrave or another DB.
Ugh...why do we put ourselves through this stuff?

Von Bell can also play single high, allowing Mitchell to play in the box

Holy shit, Alexander might be there too. Honestly, that would be a hell of a consolation prize.
Who am I kidding - the pick will be an obscure OLB.

That would also be excellent. I'll be happy with whoever we get, unless they go completely sideways here.

My espresso had a shot of JD in it.

I remember pre-Combine a lot of mocks having us taking Thompson in Round 1...

That to me would be going sideways.
Billings > Alexander = Cravens >>>>> Thompson in my book.

I think Cincy could go Tyler Boyd...

There are a ton of safeties
left on the board. Thompson, Bell, Cash, Killebrew, ......even Jalen Mills who played safety, but considers himself a corner. Wow.

very true, but there are only 3 stud NT/DTs left:
Billings, Hargrave and Ridgeway

Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
Cravens to the Skins! Dang.
Gosh, I'm getting so nervous....

Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
Well, Cravens gone but still two players I'd really really like to have in Billings and Alexander, with Hargraves as a nice consolation prize.
Note: This is where the Kyler Fuckerell pick is starting to loom large like a really really stupid flyswatter coming up in front of all my hopes and dreams.

Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
Whew. I thought for sure the Redskins would take Billings.

Good news. one pick closer to Billings, and the redskins were as likely as any ahead of us to get him. I think the bengals really will feel the need to go WR. No way are they ok with their receiver situation right now. so many teams that could use billings though...
-
Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
Can Billings now get by the Vikings???
-
Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
Trade the 5th-rounder to the Vikes here. Don't tell them we gave it to the Eagles. Then it's their problem collecting it...
-
Re: NFL Draft Day 2016 thread
Actually this is where I fear Billings going...Minnesota. They need as much D-Line help as they can get. If he can get by them...then I don't see Cincy, the Bears or Colts going with him.

The Bengals hate so much the steelers than they will pick the players than the steelers want.....
