Re: 2025 - Wild Card Weekend - STEELERS @ Baltimore Ravens - 8:00 PM EST - Prime Video
I'm with Mojouw on this one. Anybody expecting more from this season was fooling themselves. We finished with a better record than I thought we would. Most people had us dead last in the division. We finished second and qualified for the playoffs. That's a win to me. Looking forward to next season:tt02::tt02:

Personally, I would've traded everyone in 2020 or so and started over.
I got luaghed out of multiple threads for the suggestion.
Until they get a QB, this is their ceiling.
That’s not really a thing in the NFL and never been a Steelers thing. Why would you think they would even consider that route?

I think I was in the 8-9 range win in the prediction thread? Not sure what I got wrong but I guarantee I was pretty damn close after the bye…lol

Tomlin is a solid 500 coach at this point. I'll go ahead and predict next year at 9-8.

If the games are being played and officiated without corruption, then the team should be embarrassed and ashamed of the garbage effort they displayed in yesterday's game. That is exactly how to lose fans. It takes a lot more to bring them back.
Lack of talent, leadership and heart at the end of the season is turning into a broken record.

I don't think they will. But I do believe that an actual tear down and rebuild is the quickest way out of their rut.
That or trade picks inna current draft for future picks.
Something where you have enough capital to bully your way into the draft area needed to get a QB.
They're in exactly the same position the Reid and Alex Smith Chiefs were in. Then the Chiefs went big to get Mahones and a bunch of guys got crowned geniuses.

I would go big for a QB but where is that said QB. Again, they are in a position where they enter the draft in need of a QB and the class is not strong.
If we are into trading, I’m trading Tomlin for multiple first round picks and a player. I’m trading mid round picks for Justin Herbert when the Vikings re-sign Darnold and trade McCarthy to the Chargers. I’m trading one of the first round picks from this season to someone for a first round pick plus for 2026 and in 2026 I’m going all in on the best QB. Trading the two 2026 picks and a 2027 pick. There’s no point in fucking around trying to get a guy. If he costs 3 picks, I’ll pay it. Then that guys sits behind Herbert until he’s ready and then I go from there. There’s plenty of other picks to fill the roster.
That’s all in a perfect world where everything goes the way I want it…lol

I'm in the trade back in this year's draft for extra first through third round picks in 2026 camp.
Then keep doing that until you get your QB.
In the meantime, roll with Fields?
And if the "dream" reality of Herbert coming available, sure go get him.
Although he did just lay an egg in a playoff game.
Regardless of who coaches the team, you're not doing much if any playoff winning without a big time QB.
I'm far more concerned over that than who coaches what.

7 interceptions all season…4 of which came in that game. Clearly an anomaly.
