Re: Week 2: Browns @ Steelers MNF
We got our one offensive TD of the game. The defense just has to win it from here.

The Browns were running the ball effectively when Chubb was in the game. Steelers can't get an inch in the run game.

Yep, but they will be on the field too long and wear down if our offense can't sustain drives.

It’s strategy. Just trying to keep our offense off the field.

They’re not doing diddly poo now.
O line takes the first month.
Steelers line will settle at like 17-20.

And it isn’t just Najee. Warren is only effective after the catch. The O line just isn’t opening holes.

Not sure some of these aren’t by design. Remember how quickly Ben was throwing the ball in the past and Trubisky was doing it as well and then commented that it’s a one read offense.

I’m not sure what that even means. More than one guy runs a route, right? Or are they just decoys that aren’t eligible?

They are eligible but the play design is for them to just quickly throw to the designated receiver.

It doesn’t seem like anything happens quickly. Kenny seems to look around for awhile, then the pocket breaks down, then Pickett scrambles for awhile and then misses whatever receiver he throws to.
Maybe that’s what a one read offense looks like when the one read is instantly covered somehow.

The Browns are not getting anywhere near the yards without Chubb in there, but at least the backs aren't getting hit 2 or 3 yards in the backfield on every run like Harris has been.
I think the Steelers defesne has been flexing a bit and playing the run hard. The Browns defensive line is simply overwhelming the offensive line of the Steelers. I hope they can find a way to make some adjustments and some guys dig deep and find a way to slow the DL down.

Re: Week 2: Browns @ Steelers MNF
What I can't figure out is why Kenny always seems to bail out to his left. Seems like he'd naturally roll right? Even if the pressure's coming from the middle.
Weird.

I would say we would make adjustments if we had a different coaching staff but nothing will change.

Re: Week 2: Browns @ Steelers MNF
Great throw on third down. Pickens with another big catch and the OL was great on that play.

Jaylen Warren is all around better than Najee. He's just quicker.
